The Reasonably Unhinged ones get into one of cinema history’s most recognizable faces of all time: Peter Lorre. The Hungarian with the nickname „Europe’s One Man Chamber of Horrors“ makes his directorial debut with this German post-war noir film. We discuss Lorre’s unique status in world cinema, the inspirations from his earlier work with Fritz Lang and some of the icky aspects of the movie.
