On May 30, our editorial team “Radio Inklusive” celebrated its own inclusive party to mark 30 years of Radio Blau. The party was jointly organized by people with and without disabilities. Thanks to all the bands (Therapie-Orchester, Fehlerfrei, Tilly Electronics) and DJs (DJ Mütze and Johannes, DJ Mrs. Pepstein), to the venue Werk 2, the solidarity kitchen by Lixer for the great food, the Wilma Kultourkutsche for the screen printing and the audience for partying with us

This week, the time has finally come: our beloved Radio Blau is celebrating its 30th birthday!
This Wednesday marks exactly 30 years since we first went on air via FM.
You’ll hear all about what’s happened over the years in a colorful broadcast featuring many longtime companions — from 5 to 9 p.m. on DAB+ and via livestream, and from 6 to 9 p.m. on FM. Afterwards, the show will be available for 7 days in our media library.

Starting at 5 p.m., we’re also throwing an open house, where you can watch us broadcast live, check out our studios, raise a glass with us, maybe grab a little snack or some stickers and postcards, pick up a T-shirt or tote bag, and meet past and present radio makers.

We’re looking forward to seeing you!

On Sunday, May 25, you’ll find us once again at the Connewitz Street Festival on Selneckerstraße.
We’ll be there from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a booth where you can ask us all your questions about Radio Blau, pick up T-shirts, tote bags, flyers, and stickers, and enjoy music from our DJs.

We’ll also be broadcasting live from the festival from 1 to 3 p.m., interviewing local Connewitz clubs, initiatives, and residents, and capturing the atmosphere.
And the team from Radio Inklusive will be joining us again as well.

So come by and say hello!
