In this workshop we’ll explore the fundamentals of DJing, covering everything from the basics of mixing to all the possibilities of radio DJing. You’ll gain insights into curating and presenting music on the radio, all while discovering what it means to be an on-air DJ. If you’re a complete beginner or have already some experience with DJing but you want to know what you can do on radio, this workshop is for you.

We start the workshop on Friday 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. with a one hour break inbetween. Only with registration via email to ctw2022@radioblau.de. The workshop will be held in english but Mainádes can answer any german questions! If you need a whisper translation in German, please let us know in the mail.

Kansi and Mainades, based in Leipzig, co-host the “Sunday Love Affair” show on Radio Blau. Their sets cover various electronic music styles, from groovy dance tracks to soothing ambient tunes, always trying to reflect influences from their cultural backgrounds.

This is an event from the project “Resonanzraum – creating continuities”, with which we want to create an error-friendly and empowering learning space for FLINTA (women, lesbians, trans, inter, non-binary and agender people). This workshop is therefore aimed exclusively at the group of people mentioned.
