New and forgotten ways of making radio: soundscapes and audio art…Radia FM
“The Borderguards path” was recorded in the Sumava forest between the Czech and German borders on the 2nd of January 2021. I set out to explore the sounds that can be heard inside some of the 1st and 2nd World War bunkers in the area, which are said to total around 2000 in number, most of them forgotten and still to be re-discovered. Holy Mary Sinners Wave: A soundscape made with field recordings from the streets of Poilsh cities in protest and close listening to the technology and radio waves as a space of interference. Mixing fragments from performance based on the practice of microcasting, here pirating polish catholic radio Maryja (Holy Mary) on its own frequency with transmission of poetry and sounds of politic, electric body.
