Claim The Waves *

Azul, member of the Abya Yala Libre Leipzig Feminist Collective, French-Nicaraguan AZUL wanted to create an intimate one-hour show for Claim The Waves. To do this she selected for us some bedroom pop music with electronic overtones made by Latin-American and Spanish FLINTA artists. Some known, some less known… But all powerfully sweet. During lockdown people had to find peace within their own four walls. Listening to bedroom music created that space for me. And the people that were able to continue creating within their room seemed stronger and more magical than ever.
