FLINTA*-Radio-Workshop

Due to popular demand, we are offering an introduction to the structure of our radio station, studio and audio editing technology and the structure of a magazine programme in a FLINTA* group on Saturday 22 February from 12 noon to 5 pm. On Monday 24 February from 2.30 to 8.30 pm, we will create the ‘Aktuell’ programme and learn how to conduct interviews and present a radio show. Monday can also be a space for us FLINTA* not to be alone on the day after the election, but to deal proactively with the results. The workshop days can be attended together or individually, in any case you pay 11€, whether for 1 or 2 workshop days. Location: Radio Blau, Paul-Gruner-Str. 62, Centre-South. The workshop rooms are relatively barrier-free, please discuss your needs with us in advance. If you need a translation, please let us know. Women, lesbians, inter-, non-binary, trans and agender people can register bindingly at anja@radioblau.de.

The workshops for our ‘Direktsignal’ project are in full swing. The last two (‘Interview and fact checking’ and ‘Programme planning’) were well attended. We were able to reach people from the Spanish-speaking community in particular, but we would be delighted if we could cover an even wider range of languages. So come along to our other workshops: on 25 October on the topic of ‘Moderation and hosting a show’ and on 8 November on ‘Audio Editing with Reaper’.

We will also be resuming our regular editorial meetings in November (always on Fridays from 10am-12am).
None of the dates suit you? Write to us and we’ll find a common date – we’re also open to finding a new date for the editorial meeting. Just get in touch with direktsignal@radioblau.de

Workshop ‘What is free radio and how can I get involved?’

On Thursday 17 October from 13:00 to 16:30 we will hold a workshop at Paul-Gruner-Straße 62 (Zentrum-Süd) as part of the Critical Introductory Weeks. We’ll talk about what community radio means and how you can take part. How do I plan an interview, an audio survey or a podcast discussion without much effort? Why is it politically relevant, even if I’m reporting on non-political topics? In this short workshop you will learn the answers to these questions and get to know the studios of Radio Blau. And we will make our first recordings for a radio programme. We can translate to English, Russian and Ukrainian in this workshop, if you need other languages, please let us know. The room is accessible for most wheelchairs and there is an accessible toilet. If you have any other needs, please let us know in advance. Register at kurse@radioblau.de
